The World Health Organization revealed something shocking about processed meat

Research by the World Health Organization revealed that processed meats are a major cause of cancer. Foods like sausages, bacon, and hot dogs were discovered to the be the most harmful when it comes to increasing your risk of colon cancer.

Processed meats are now in the Group 1 category for carcinogens

Group 1 for things that cause cancer include things like alcohol and cigarettes. Health experts say that, while processed meats aren’t necessarily as dangerous as smoking or drinking alcohol, you should still pay attention to how much you eat to take care of your health.
